Exclusive Harry Potter Tour Real Film Locations!

Kingdom Private Tours is delighted to offer it's very own unique tour culminating in the magic of the Harry Potter™ films – the most successful film series of all time. Our driver tour guide will take you on a mysterious journey capturing some of the actual places where filming took place. You will be able to explore and see the most important spots where Harry and crew did the actual filming, which can include Kings Cross Station (Platform 9 3/4), Lacock Village and Abbey, Christchurch College Oxford, Privet Drive and much more. Note this is not the Warner Bros Studios tour.

Downton Abbey Tour

Highclere Castle in Berkshire (South East England) is the actual castle that features in the award-winning series Downton Abbey. Set in 1,000 acres of parkland, this Victorian manor is home to the Earl and Countess of Carnarvon, whose family have lived on the site since 1679. Downton Abbey author, Julian Fellowes is a longstanding family friend and had Highclere in mind while writing the series.

 

At the castle you can experience Downton life first hand: sip tea in the café, stroll the gardens, and admire the sumptuous interiors, many of which were used for filming. Due to season restrictions at Highclere Castle & Gardens, please check with us before booking to ensure the location is open for your tour.

 

In addition to Highclere Castle, guests on the Downton Abbey tour will be offered the unique chance to visit another location used for filming the series, which is the beautiful Bampton Village, where you will find St Marys Church, Pub, Hospital, Mrs Crawley House, Post Office plus many more spots!

Lunch

For lunch our tour guide will happily give you a number of options to choose from on the day like traditional English pub or a classic English tea room. Food is available at either of the tour locations.
