Stonehenge Inner Circle

Start or finish your special day with an exclusive trip to Stonehenge with a private inner circle tour. One of the great must see sites of the world and steeped in mystery, this ancient temple was built around 5,000 years ago, making it older than the pyramids of Egypt. It is classed as a World Heritage Site and thought to be a place of healing, as well as an astronomical clock and a religious site. This is a unique and private opportunity to visit the landmark and walk among the stones either during early morning or late evening.

Whilst we will do our very best to reserve your requested date/time, we cannot guarantee this until your payment has been received and the visit has been booked and confirmed.

To help you get the most from your Inner Circle experience, your Kingdom tour guide can accompany you during private access to give you all the interesting stories surrounding Stonehenge. Please let us know upon booking if you would wish them to do so as you will need to cover the cost of an additional access ticket.

You will also be able to select one further location during this tour which can be any one of the below listed sites. This will take place either before or after your entry to the inner circle at Stonehenge.

Salisbury Cathedral

In addition to visiting Stonehenge, guests alternatively may like to visit the picturesque City of Salisbury and it's breath taking Cathedral. Over 800 years old it is one of the UK’s most iconic medieval buildings. Discover the original 1215 Magna Carta, one of only four in the world, and explore its legacy in an interactive exhibition.

Roman Baths

Alternatively complete your private tour by admiring the heritage of the City of Bath boasting spectacular Georgian architecture, and more listed buildings than London. Here you can visit the ancient Roman Baths, built over 2,000 years ago. The Romans harnessed the hot local springs and were able to engineer a magnificent complex of plunge pools, steam rooms and saunas.

 

Alternative Tour Sights

This tour can be customised with an alternative visit to Windsor Castle (the oldest and largest royal occupied castle in the world), Avebury (a Neolithic henge monument containing three stone circles), or Lacock Abbey & Village (picturesque streets and historic cottages featuring in Pride & Prejudice & Harry Potter).

 

Pickup Times and Lunch

If you choose the early morning Inner Circle tour, pickup will be between 3am to 5am and drop-off between 1pm to 3pm depending on the time slot we get from Stonehenge. For the late evening tour, pick-up will be around 11am to 1pm and drop-off will be around 9pm to 11pm depending on the time slot we get from Stonehenge. Times will be confirmed upon booking and based on your pickup/drop-off location and your selection of morning or evening access to Stonehenge.

For breakfast and lunch our tour guide will happily give you a number of options to choose from on the day. You may like to consider a luxury picnic hamper at Stonehenge which includes a variety of meats, cheeses, local breads, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, from just £50 per person. Please specify this upon your booking and we will take care of the rest.
